Dr Lakkappa is the Clinical Director of Community Rehabilitation and Elderly Care at Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
He is Board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine. He has experience in community rehabilitation with a special interest in intermediate care with the NHS.
His expertise is in comprehensive Geriatric assessment, Holistic review of patients with complex co-comorbidities and review of polypharmacy.
He is an expert in reviewing geriatric syndromes and integrating assessment and rehabilitation in the community. His interest includes cognitive impairment and advances in care planning including capacity assessment for patients with dementia.
